NEW AND CURRENT STUDENTS MUST REGISTER ONLINE!​

* Students are not registered in classes until all consent forms are agreed to and payment is received. *

​

• Tuition Paid in Full: If tuition is paid in full for the entire dance year by the first week of classes will receive a 10% discount.

​

• Monthly Tuition:  First month and last month’s payment are due at registration (September 2023 and June 2024).  Payments due thereafter, always on the first of each month, October 1st, 2023 through May 1st, 2024.

• Summer Dance Tuition 2024: Summer Dance Tuition is NON-REFUNDABLE. Classes, camps, workshops and intensives will not be pro-rated.

​

• NEW FOR 2023/2024: Autopay will be required for all families. All families must leave a credit card on file in your parent portal account and your credit card will be charged the 1st of every month. Any cards declined will receive a $35 processing fee, no exceptions. Cards accepted are Mastercard, Visa, Discover or American Express.

​

• Registration Fee: A non-refundable $30.00 registration fee is due upon sign up.

​

• Downstage Dance does not pro-rate for any classes missed.  If tuition payment(s) are more than 30 days past due, student(s) may be suspended until payment(s) is made. 

​

• Any tuition that must be made by Cash or Check and received after the 10th of the month will incur a $35.00 late charge, no exceptions.

​

• $35.00 fee will be charged for returned checks. 

​

• Please advise that the study of dance comes with the risk of injury. Those students who suffer a major and debilitating injury, even outside of dance (ie. sports, any other physical activity that occurs outside of dance class), must submit a letter of explanation from a licensed physician and must have full clearance by the physician before returning to class.

​

• Dropped Classes Fee:  Any student who drops a class will be responsible for the remaining fees of that trimester. A $150 cancellation fee will be applied for any classes dropped after January 1st, 2024.  Dropped classes must be done in writing via email. No refunds will be given for classes paid in full after November 1st.

​

• Costume Payments:  Costume payments are due October 1, 2023.  Families with 4 or more costumes, 50% costume deposit is due October 1st.  Final payment due no later than December 1, 2023.  Costume payments can also be made upon sign up.  Costume payments will be accepted by Cash or Check only. Any late costume payments will incur a $35.00 late fee.  All costume payments are non-refundable!  Any student who joins Downstage Dance after January 1st, 2024 will incur an additional shipping fee in addition to costume payment. Student will be measured by Downstage Dance Faculty.

• Winter & Spring Performances:   All dancers are required to perform in both Winter and Spring Performances. Please note: Any dancers who drop out of the performance unless there is an extenuating circumstance will be subject to a Dropped Performance Fee of $150.00. 

​

• Winter and Spring Performance Tickets:  All Winter and Spring Performance ticket payments will be accepted by Cash or Check only.  

​

• Picture Day Payments:  Picture Day payments will be accepted by Cash or Check only.  All picture day payments must be made at least a week before your scheduled date.  Refunds will only be given if canceled 7 or more days prior to your scheduled picture date.  

​

• All tuition, tickets, costumes, pictures and any merchandise or Downstage Apparel ALL SALES ARE FINAL!

​

• No refunds or make up classes will be given for classes canceled due to inclement weather. 

​

• The Student and Parent give Downstage Dance, LLC., all rights and privileges to use the Student's likeness or image in any printed or recorded material, without compensation and notification. All such material shall remain property of Downstage Dance.

​

• Illegal activity and/or inappropriate behavior taking place anywhere by the student not suitable in the sole opinion of the Director is cause for Downstage Dance, LLC. to immediately expel the Student and immediately terminate this agreement. Examples of inappropriate behavior, without limitation are disrespect of staff members or bullying of other students.

​

• Downstage Dance will immediately expel a Student, regardless of age, found using alcohol, illegal drugs, and/or any illicit substance at any time, any place and such action is cause for Downstage Dance to immediately terminate this agreement.

​

• All dancers and parents must ​fully agree and understand the terms above, and accept full financial responsibility for all related costs during the 2023-2024 dance year at Downstage Dance, LLC.

PLEASE ADVISE:

Downstage Dance, LLC. does not permit the use of our company name or company logo in creating any merchandise (ie. bags, shirts, sweatshirts, gifts, pens, magnets, etc.) by vinyl/cricket or custom designed items for personal use or group distribution. Downstage merchandise and apparel is available for purchase through our own personal vendor. Attempting to create or sell items with our company name and/or logo will result in copyright/trademark legal action.

*Mini Company Classes will be charged as regular class tuition.

(For example, if the student signs up for their 2 required company classes plus their 2 mini company classes, it will be equivalent to 4 classes per week.)

 

*1.5 hour classes are $110 per month for non-company members.

Supply, stock, shipping issues have driven our costs up dramatically within the last 2 years . 

Costume Costs will be determined once the catalogs and pricing for the new season are released!
